Review of Pura Vida Hotel - A Family Retreat in ValgañonDuring our recent journey home from France, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at Pura Vida Hotel-a charming and stylish establishment nestled in the peaceful village of Valgañon. We only stayed for one night, but it was enough to appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere and thoughtful amenities offered by the owners, Asuncion and Javier. Our spacious bedroom was equipped with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Although we did not take advantage of the garden, it's easy to envision how inviting it would be on a warm summer day for family barbecues. The breakfast spread was a delightful treat, featuring fresh bread, croissants, and even my favorite, Twinings English Breakfast tea-nothing seemed too much trouble for the attentive staff. Located just a short drive from Ezcaray, the hotel is ideally positioned for outdoor activities such as hiking in the Sierra de la Demanda and skiing at Valdezcaray. We are keen on returning next year, planning for a longer stay to explore the area's cultural and culinary offerings further. Pura Vida is an excellent choice for families seeking a welcoming retreat in northern Spain.
